Dangerous Adventures

Sometimes the most dangerous things can be so small that you can only see them under the microscope. A good friend of mine invited me to come along and look over his shoulder while feeding deathly bacteria and viruses for his experiments the following week.

Not having any real experience in labs and advanced biology, I had no idea what to expect and was naturally excited. At first I thought this is going to be just interesting and good to experience. However, when I was told that I should not touch anything or I might die I realized that this adventure is going to be tough one. I realized how tough, when my nose started to itch about five minutes later. What can I do? Scratch my nose and get seriously sick or fight through it and survive?

Let’s say I survived the battle against my itching nose and was happy to have experienced it all. Very interesting lab work, but definetly not my type of career. After all, my nose just itches way to often!

Ha ha! Your nose was playing tricks on you with very bad timing, or very great timing, depending on how you look at it.
